Jonathan and Ted will discuss the ins and outs of soliciting major gifts. Their presentation will be informed by both best practices and real-world examples.
Learning objectives for this session include:
- Attendees will learn the steps involved in the solicitation process, from planning to execution, and what it takes to be as prepared as possible before making the ask.
- Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the asking process by taking part in a role playing scenario.
- Attendees will learn about real life asking case studies and gain takeaways to use during preparation and gift solicitation.
The level of learning for this session is intermediate.
This workshop is appropriate for entry level to intermediate Executive Directors, Directors of Development, & staff charged with fundraising functions.
